Find your journey |
The Fare Finder shows the cost of a single one-way journey on a non-urban route. |
If your journey uses more than one bus, you need to calculate each trip separately. For example, to see the fare from Devonport to Hobart, calculate Devonport to Launceston, then Launceston to Hobart. |
If your travel starts or ends outside a town listed in the calculator, your actual fare may differ. |
Not all journeys can be calculated. |
If your travel is entirely within the urban area, use the table and maps below to find your fare. |

Fare Types |

You are eligible if you are a full-time student aged 19 or over, aged 70 or over, or have: |
- a pensioner concession card (primary cardholder)
- a health care card (primary cardholder)
- a seniors card
- a Residence Determination ImmiCard or Evidence of Immigration Status.

Child/student passengers pay a flat fare regardless of distance travelled. You are eligible until the end of the year in which you turn 18. |
Some passengers are eligible for free travel. |

Smartcard and 10-trip ticket discounts |
Fares are 20 per cent cheaper when you use a smartcard like Greencard or Transportme, or pre-purchase a 10-trip ticket, where available. To learn more, talk to your operator. |
